Fountain Youth Initiative is the winner of National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition 2019 (DIAR Awards) as best collaborative community based organization in Kenya!

Fountain Youth Initiative was established and registered under laws of Kenya in 2009 as community based organization.  The organization operates in the slums of Nairobi & Kiambu counties and rural villages on the western part of Kenya. The organization aims to nurture, empower and transform local young people to be self reliant, independent and key players in their community.

Our Current Projects

Nurturing
Nurturing

Nurturing program supports over 1500 orphans and vulnerable children to access & excel in universal education. This is through 4 main projects: Reproductive & Development Health Project, Back to School ProjectInuka Scholarship Project and Art Appreciation.

Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship program supports over 500 marginalized youths with business training and basic vocational skills training after which graduates are supported to start own business or secure employment. This is through 4 main projects: Skills Training Project, Inuka micro-start project, One Chicken One Girl Project and Grandmother Pig Revolving Project.

Mtaa Yangu
Mtaa Yangu

Mtaa Yangu program mobilizes, educates and sensitizes over 5000 local marginalized youths on issues affecting them, their community and how to address them. This is through 4 main projects: Annual Events, Amplify Our Voices, My Choice My Future Project and Leadership Project.
